Norton technician remotely fried my computer by trying to correct a problem with their own online back up storage system...completely lost all data, computer black screened (HP Envy) unable to restore and was out of pocket $336 to repair my own computer when Norton was unable to restore my computer. Norton denied having caused the failure? Asked them to check back to their voice recordings and to review the steps taken by their own computer technician that was working remotely on my computer while I watched.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $336.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Norton AntiVirus Cons: Refund policy.

Same thing happened to me. I can't even get a call back.

They fried my computer, do not know the repair costs yet. They won't admit fault and are trying to tell me my computer was broken.

All the calls are placed in the Philippines and you cannot understand what they are saying. What a terrible company, shame on them, Don't buy anything Norton!

I am afraid you reached a third party tech support which claimed to be Norton.
