I have tried to CANCEL Norton's Anti Virus Bills but they keep sending the bills even though I have cancelled the Service.

Inaccurate billing/Duplicate Account for 8+ years
Contacted Norton on 05.02.22. I noticed that there were two billings on my account for Norton 360.
One in August 2020 and one in May 2021.
I was told Norton could only refund the May 2021 billing - because refunds for auto-billing, per policy, could only occur if requested within 60 days. This refund was issued.
Upon additional research, Norton/Symantec has been billing me twice a year since 2014. Each year the amount has gone up - from the original $39.99 to $79.99 to currently $104.99. This averages out to $1600.00.
I requested an additional refund for the billing in 2020. Norton refused - standing behind their refund policy that they communicate before auto-pay.
The email address and auto billing account are the same for both subscriptions. Norton also noted that none of the licenses had been utilized. Norton indicated that the emails could be confusing and with multiple email scams.
Yes, 'ignoring' official emails could happen.
Norton also prevents you from removing your auto-pay details from your account.
Norton customer service cannot provide their Legal Team's email for consumer complaints nor a corporate phone number, only offering a physical address to write a letter. WOW!
This complaint could have been settled for $312.

User's recommendation: Use the free antivirus software that are available. They are free, work on PC and MAC and are equivalent and in many instances better. Complain to the FTC, Consumer Affairs with your State.

I have been a loyal member of Norton for almost twenty years, and during that time, I loved Norton; however, in the past year, your service to customers has declined from excellent TO TOTAL INCOMPETENCE!! Go back to hiring Americans whose English is easy to understand and who are more competent.
My account was closed two days ago without getting a notification from Norton, although for the past week Norton bombarded my phone, emails, and online screen with messages to update my payment method.
I did that twice yesterday, but the incompetent workers you have with heavy, hard-to-understand English, failed to process my new debit card correctly. I also have an ongoing case 654****, on an UNRESLOVED ISSUE and your imcopmetent staff from overseas closed that case.
THEREFORE, I AM JUMPING SHIP, AND AM SHOPPING FOR A MORE COMPETENT ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE PROVIDER

Whether it's for technical problems, support, billing I wasn't my product's email address(es). Norton 360 Deluxe.
If I don't get it by Friday PM I will get a refund. I am possibly Terminally Ill & without a Transplant will be terminally ill. Dead soon. I can't always talk on the phone due to illness & my bank knows this.
Norton 360 Deluxe hasn't worked correctly on my Windows 10 Laptop since the beginning which should have been sometime in January 2022 but you have down December 2021. That's beside the point it took me over 2 hours to Chat with somebody on PC today before I had to finally hang up.
The useless virtual assistant was of no help, wouldn't put me in line for a Live Chat or give me a telephone number to call later in the day. Instead, it misunderstood everything wrong & wasted 2 hours of my time on the other computer I let my older brother use.
- Should keep computer clean running fast virus which slow it down
- Difficult to chat to them
- Extremely poor customer service
Preferred solution: Help with minimum 5 major problems & 2 months extended coverage from the completion of help date.
User's recommendation: Get a seperate contract to your liking in writing no matter how little money the cost or stupid your demand sounds.

Norton Utilities You shouldn't feel so bad, I have been waiting for a call back since January 29, 2022. I constantly call them with my case number and they keep telling me someone will call me back within 24 to 72 hours! I think I am on their do not call back or put on hold for hours until you get fed up and hang up - bad, bad, bad customer service!!!
