I had bought a Norton Premium and attempted to put it on my laptop. I was unable to do it and had to call a number to verify everything.

I was told that they were unable to put Norton onto my laptop as it was infected. Said that the only way for them to resolve this issue was to pay more money so they could sort my laptop out. They informed me of several things and somehow showed me evidence. As there was no way I could afford to pay anything from £169 to £379 I didn't progress.

Later on I was able to install Norton.

There is clearly a very major problem with the tec service you are using. Fraud comes to mind and I really think this should be reported to suitable authorities.

Product or Service Mentioned: Norton Antivirus Technical Support.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Proof that Norton are dealing with the service the tec company are providing.

I didn't like: Customer support, Scare tactics by norton virur reps.

I have had the same thing happen to me. They very much used scary tactics to get me to spend more money with them
