My registered phone number has been disconnected and unable to receive the code for login

I got a REAL PERSON not a AI bot to help me solve my sign in probems with Norton! I had to give up my old account and start a new one and they transferred my coverage to the new account!!.

I have for a year tried to sign in on my Norton 360 account but I can't get my codes from Microsoft Authenticator 2FA to be verified!! I have tried over 50 times over and over again trying to get verified!

REAL THREAT

So what do I do now! I am a threat because I tried over and over to get into my own virus protection that cost me over 200:- a year to have!!!

My only recourse is to let the subscription expire and then "go to another company I guess; I like norton and have been a customer over 25 years!!!

I am a subscriber to Norton 360 Security. I am unhappy with how the software has installed the Norton browser and auto-started it when I boot my computer.

I view this as malware as I never authorized you to do this. I am contemplating contacting the UK Government Cyber Security team to report this as malware because the software installed without the user's permission and should be illegal. I have trusted Norton in the past for many years, but I am considering removing it from all my devices and telling others to do the same.

Can you confirm that this will be addressed urgently? Thank you.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Ii wanted a full refund and told them I wasn't going to jump through hoops.

Because I filed a complaint with pissed consumer they gave me a full refund with no hassel. File a complaint with pissed consumer and they will hook you up with a direct call phone number for Norton.

I purchased Norton 360. Installed it and every time I open my computer, there is Norton popping in with a window trying to get me to set up this and that service they offer.

All I wanted was a simple antivirus malware protection, not all the other crap they have. I asked for a refund and they give me this runaround about how based upon the info I gave them, they have found some solutions. There were no solutions, just an endless runaround. I am contacting my bank and reporting disputing the transaction for fraud on their part.

I will never ever use Norton for anything. I am deleting them from my computers because I am tired of their pop-up windows interrupting my work.

I've experienced the same thing. The scareware and adware popups on a product you paid for is not acceptable.

Not only that, Norton has removed most of the documentation that explained how to get a protracted refund after 190 days. It is my opinion Norton is no longer a tech company but has become a marketing company.

To Whom This May Concern,

I am writing to express my deep and utter dissatisfaction with Norton 360 and my overall experience as a paying customer was pathetic. What was marketed as a comprehensive and reliable cybersecurity solution has consistently proven to be unreliable, invasive, and unnecessarily disruptive to normal computer user.

Their lack of support, their lies regarding call backs, the whole scenario of complete terrible experience...

Despite having the latest version installed, the software did not work as advertised from the beginning of the installation, resulting in noticeable openings of there advertising of what an allegedly great product they have, its a LIE!!! The constant calls that I had to make, explain the reasons why I have to keep calling for the same support is out of control!! The absolute repetitive LIES telling me that L3 was going to ceded time and scheduled day that never happened with was another complete LIE!!! Make the whole nightmare so counterproductive it feels more like dealing with adware than professional protection software.

Equally troubling is the aggressive upselling behavior embedded with the program.

Instead of focusing on security, Norton 360 repeatedly pushes additional paid features and unnecessary renewals. This practice is misleading and erodes trust in your companys commitment to genuine customer security and customer support which is TERRIBLE!!!

Support interactions have been so extremely disappointing and made me leave this horrific company. Responses are scripted, slow, and they fail to address the underlying problems. I have spent hours, days and weeks attempting to resolve basic issues that should never occur in a premium security product.

Then lied to regarding support calls to attempt a solution which never happened Is pathetic!!

Given this experience, I expect a full review of my case, a complete refund for the subscription since my subscription never worked from the onset!!!

Unless these actions are taken, I will be escalating this matter through consumer protection channels and sharing my experience publicly to warn other potential customers.

If you are looking for a computer security company that you chase your tail trying to fix thier product, these are the ones to go with! If your looking for a computer solutions company that supports their product, calls you back when they say they are, when you have issues and need legitimate help, norton360 IS NOT THE COMPANY TO GO WITH!!!

Please cancel my Norton subscription, which is to begin on April 14, 2026, and refund the payment of $424.95. I have been unsuccessful in making this request online, usually following the cancellation procedure only to get something other than what I pursued. I expected a straightforward online procedure, but only to get into convoluted procedures.

I cancelled my account today since they cannot call me regarding any type of support that I have been asking for for over 8 months!!!! Norton360 is like dealing with deer in headlights, maybe worse!!!! Deers dont LIE!!!! I purchased BitDefender and BAAAM!!!

No product support necessary! No ridiculous calling support to see what to do next, everything worked as advertised!!!!! I am on the same exact local network and I can print with the VPN service active! I can browse the internet with all the services running!

Easy interface and, I think you would ENJOY BITDEFENDER better, as a past customer of Norton360, I can say it again. I should have cancelled Norton months ago! I fell like I am protected and so far so good!!!

I highly recommend BitDefender to everyone!!! Good Luck!!!

Promised phone calls over and over for months! Never receive anything from this company but grief and lies!

They are full of something but not the truth! Since I have owned the family plan for Norton 360, services in the bundle do not work; all I hear is excuses and different stories from the dozens of different agents! They have requested my case number, personal contact information, and problems I am experiencing, and I will hear back from someone within 24-48 hours, nothing but lies! How can a company consistently lie like this and not be accountable?

If anyone is looking to purchase antivirus, fraud protection... move past these people; if not, you will be sorry, they're a joke!

From my experience, Norton's customer support model has to do with hanging up on customers instead of transferring them to a supervisor.

LOL! They hung up on me three times when I requested to talk with a supervisor.

I was finally put through to a supervisor when I let them know I was going to keep calling. I finall talked with a supervisor and was given a case number. He said he would call back after researching my issue.

I'm still waiting. :)

Constant harrassment

Norton has pop ups every second of the day and night popping up and I cant stop them. I called them and they want twenty dollars to stop. I cant use my computer.

This is normal. They will keep hanging up on you until you let them know you will just keep calling back.

But once you do get to a supervisor, it was my experience they act like the hang ups are not how they do business, then they promise to get back to you... which in my case they did not do.
