I tried to turn off auto renewal several times, but the button was greyed out. I was told I would be notified when it was time to be renewed.

I didnt see th notice until after Payal tod me I was charged $105.99 for my renewal. I can buy the same thing at Best Buy for a lot less.

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $106.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Norton AntiVirus Pros: All good but auto renewall tactics, User friendly, Product.

Norton AntiVirus Cons: Price, Auto-renewall tactics and price, Being unable to get my money back.

You have to be very careful when buying or using these anti virus software items. They all seem to love the auto renewal scam.

However, you might be interested to know that not only does Norton put a whole lot of junk on your machine that is hard to get rid of when you uninstall it, but you can get good protection for zero dollars. Avast has a free edition. Malwarebytes has a free edition and Microsoft comes with Windows Defender. These are just a few.

If you also protect yourself with Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and get the free addons like Blur, UBlock Origin and Disconnect you can protect your data for free. Why pay Norton or anyone for what you can get for free?
